Nancy Jenner
I am a mid-career Boston artist who has exhibited in group shows throughout New England and beyond. My work often references art history and themes from news and culture. Much of my work is conceptual -- individual and series of work that responds to an idea or theme. I also create collages and paint landscapes inspired by time on Cape Cod.
Focusing on the incredible beauty of the coast and the sea is a way to gain perspective in a time of incredible uncertainty. Nature is powerful and resilient, both a reminder of what is possible and what is at stake. I received a MFA from the SMFA/Tufts University.
