Barbara Ellen Watkins

The objects we live with come to inhabit us as much as we inhabit them.  I am interested in drawing and painting the ordinary things I live with.  My recent work explores light, shadow and pattern in a variety of media—acrylic paint, watercolor, and oil pastel.  My work tends to be small, intimate, usually no larger than 18” x 24” and often smaller.
