Jane Akiba

For over thirty years, I have been photographing portraits and celebrations. Lately, I have enjoyed photographing in and around Jamaica Plain,  capturing the flavor of our neighborhood. My other passion has been working in Frederick Law Olmsted’s Emerald Necklace Park system.  It has been a pleasure to sell many of these images not only as artist’s prints, but, also as greeting cards, coasters, and magnets.  Currently, I teach photography at Emerson College, as well as, having private students who want to increase their understanding of photography.  Please contact me through my website.
